storytime

Posted by tankgalnora - July 3rd, 2022

so i got around to playing Dead Cells... on my own laptop, on a keyboard

my friend has it but doesnt play it and lets me play it on their computer

but i decided to be independent and get it myself

im still kinda workin out the keybinds so it doesnt suck as much

Dead Cells is actually a pretty kick-ass game, go check it out guys

but anyways...

this is not the story i am telling --- this is:

so my friend and i went to an abortion clinic because we saw these protestors outside with signs

yknow they said stuff like "choose life" , "every child is a gift/blessing" , and, my personal favorite,

"CHOOSE LIFE --- YOUR MOTHER DID"

so we parked in the parking lot and my friend ran out.

then this security guard walked up and gestured for me to roll down the window.

i did so nervously, lowering it so we could just make eye contact

"hi there. are you here for an appointment?" he asked in a friendly (ish???) tone

i simply rolled my eyes at him (which, honestly, felt so satisfying and empowering tbh)

"... so you're a protestor?" he asked/concluded upon my reaction.

(i wasnt, i was a third party witnessing it, but i didnt wanna say a single word to him)

i simply rolled up the window as if to say "BYEEE I DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR SHIT"

so he walked over (i was laughing softly as he walked away) and told my friend we couldnt park there

kinda bullshit if you ask me

i mean i understand how it can be a whole "customers only" parking lot

but cmon hahaha...

i think the protestors were there with like cameras, interviewing the leftist protestors there.

as we drove off, they were recording and my friend honked at them, ruining their shot

i will never be able to forget how utterly and completely satisfying and empowering that eye roll was hahaha :)
